Comprehension = 50% more skill points when reading. Without it learned 3 points with perk learned 4, that's not 50%. Nearly all calculations in the game engine drop the decimal, e.g. 3 * 1.5 = 4.5 -> 4. No rounding half up or such unless the calculation got specifically designed to include rounding...

I'm not going to argue about that, it's your decision. But it has an impact in some quests, for example the one where the player has to meet the kidnappers near the brahmin pen at 11PM. Actually humanoid companions can wear other armors, e.g. leather armor for Keri. Resurrection disabled some UI buttons but there are hotkeys for them, so technically you can just press hotkeys to enter barter/trade UI or make them wear best armor.
