Red ammo is AP, should be better for armored enemies, but it deals as much damaga as blue = 0 ...

@LifeTears No doubt plasma > lasers but we talk about level 4 range, and reaching plasma weapon at that point will be close to impossible.

I personally use turbo plasma for long range and mutant base boss gun for close range.

level 4 use plasma pistol

Gabriel is annoying as fuck to use in a good playthrough.

I got him at -57 karma (backstab Alexa for that 1000 caps).

The three quests in Corant: sheriff's murderer, graverobber, and Clint's dealings, all have positive karma gains. Each and all will annoy him to the point he would leave. even leave him behind before report for xp/reward doesnt help. And that's with negative karma total.

His only use is to be escort until we get the doctor chic, I guess.

Well, since this playthrough seems more about getting a good character, than playing as a morally good character, you could use Gabriël to get a good discount from those good doctors in Albuquerque

lol, btw as mentioned before you can get doctor as early as level 4, i finished game with 1000k karma and all towns idolized status.

With normal difficutlty maybe. With hardest difficulty, I got shot to shred on the way~

Also, where do you farm Karma? At level 7, mine got dumped into -57 and no clear way to raise it. Most of the profitable quest punish Karma.
