Has anyone figured out how to configure f2wedit to work with resurrection?
I changed:
fores.dat to master.dat
fores_critter.dat to critter.dat
fores.exe to fallout2.exe
and when trying to load the data files, it says "can't unpack stat.msg from FO2master.dat".
Can anyone shed any light on what I am missing?

Maybe change folder resdata to data as well. And is possible that you need to copy STAT.MSG from Fallout 2 to resdata\text\english\game
Or what you can do instead, is to extract the files from fores.dat into your Fallout 2 "data" folder. You need only these folders from fores.dat, if you don't want to extract it all:
proto\items
text\english\game
That way you should be able to edit Resurrection items with f2wedit from Fallout 2 folder. After you edit a item, copy it's .pro file from Fallout 2\data\proto\items to Resurrection\resdata\proto\items and the game should load this file instead of the one in fores.dat
